George Baker age 75 of Frankford passed away Sunday February 17, 2008 at his residence.  Graveside services will be held 1:00 p. m. Wednesday at the Fairview Cemetery in Frankford with Rev. Randall Cone officiating. 

He was born August 27, 1932 in Frankford, the son of Vernie and Edith Jones Baker.  He lived in Frankford all of his life.  He was self employed, mowing lawns and cutting wood.  He also had worked for the Sims Funeral Home for several years.  He enjoyed hunting. 

Survivors include one brother James Baker of Louisiana; one sister Evelyn Houchins of Mason City, IL. and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death five brothers Harvey, John Raymond, Virgil, Jesse and Elmer and two sisters Goldie Hubert and Mildred who passed away in infancy.
