Donald (Donnie) Brewer age 60 of Bowling Green, passed away Thursday May 20, 2010 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana. 

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Jerry Gamm officiating.  Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bowling Green.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

He was born March 1, 1950 in Bowling Green, the son of Clarence Herbert and Mildred Jane Kelch Brewer.  Survivors include his mother Mildred Moran of Foristell; two sons Shannon Brewer and Robby Brewer both of Frankford; two daughters Deanna Brewer of Frankford, Tawney Brewer of Madison; one granddaughter Lydia Brewer of Frankford; five brothers Harold Brewer of Bowling Green, James Brewer of St. Charles, Mike Brewer of Bowling Green, Bill Brewer of Bowling Green and Rick Brewer of Fayette.  He was preceded in death by his father and one brother Bob Brewer.

Mr. Brewer lived in Pike County most all of his life where he was a grain and livestock farmer.  He had also worked at Mike’s Tire Service for several years.  He enjoyed buying and working with horses and enjoyed buying and working on pickup trucks.

Serving as pallbearers will be Darin Epperson, Chad Stewart, Jack Kirtlink, Donnie Hendricks, Rob Grummel and Mike Runyon.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Pike County Hospice.
