Kathryn L. England 94 of Silex passed away Monday at the Troy Manor in Troy. Private memorial graveside services will be held at the Auburn Cemetery near Silex.
She was born on September 14, 1914 in Brookfield, the daughter of Benjamin Floyd and Geneva Adalaide Farris Murrain. Kathryn moved to the Silex area in 1955 with her husband
where she lived until her passing. She was married to William E. England and he preceded her in
death on June 21, 1994. She was a member of the Auburn Presbyterian Church where she held many various positions. Kathryn enjoyed fishing, gardening, sewing, cooking but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son William England Jr. of Elsberry, four daughters Melba Trennepohl and husband Richard of Elsberry, Ellen Bartoszkiewicz and husband Raymond of Troy, Betty McClellan and husband Jerry of Silex and Judy Housewright and husband Michael of Silex,
11 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one grandson Steven Aversman, daughter-in-law Peggy Jean England. three brothers and four sisters.
