A memorial open house for Larry S. Ferrell, formerly of Louisiana, will be held Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ferrell Home at 2025 Hepperman Road (it is a dome home) Wentzville.
Mr. Ferrell died Jan. 18, 2010 at his home from Alzheimer’s.
He is survived by his wife, Joana Ferrell; two sons, Wade Ferrell and wife Bobbi, Joshua Ferrell and Julie Boland; and nephew that was like a son, Don Colonna.   Also surviving are six grandchildren, Megan, Jordan, Austin, Benjamin, Rachel and Luke; two sisters, Dorothy Wilkerson and Clovie Dunavant; and many nieces and nephews.
Ferrell was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local #36.  He served in the United States Army for four years and the United States Marine Corps for two years.
