Frances Frazier

Frances Frazier age 85 of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday January 23, 2008 at Country View Nursing Home in Bowling Green.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday January 26 at the White Rose Baptist Church in Bowling Green with Rev. Marvin Davis officiating.  Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bowling Green.  Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at the church.

She was born December 10, 1922 in Bowling Green the daughter of Frank and Anna Mae Maiden Grimmett.  She had been married to Leonard Bragg Sr. and Pearl Frazier.  Survivors include one son Leonard Bragg, Jr. and wife Virginia of Fayette; one daughter Betty Shepherd of Bowling Green; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by one brother William Jerry Grimmett of Bowling Green and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson Corey Shepherd; two brothers Kenneth Grimmett and Edward Grimmett and one sister Izola Florence.

Ms. Frazier lived most of her life in Bowling Green.  She was a member of White Rose Baptist Church.   She had been a board member and travel organizer for OATS and had been president and member of the Mother’s Board of White Rose Baptist Church.  Ms. Frazier enjoyed making crafts. 

Serving as pallbearers will be Terrence Bell, Lloyd Grimmett, Harold Hendricks, Mark Morgan, Larry Hendricks and Earl McPike.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gordon Shepherd, Carl McPike, Bill Redmond, Raymond Florence, Jack Chatman and Howard Grimmett.
