Donald Grover Jr. age 46 of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday January 31, 2008 at his residence. Memorial Services and Military Services conducted by VFW Post 5553 will be held 6:30 p.m. Wednesday February 6 at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green. Visitation will follow at the funeral home. Final interment will be in the Buffalo Cemetery in Louisiana.
He was born July 5, 1961 in Louisiana, the son of Donald Marvin and Margaret Lee Johnson Grover. Survivors include his mother Margaret Brandenburger of Bowling Green; one daughter Rachel Grover of Bowling Green; special friend Tara Edlen of Jefferson City; two brothers John Grover and wife Elaine of Fayette, Brian Brandenburger and wife Breezy of Bowling Green; one sister Julie Peters and husband Dan of New London; Uncle Kevin Johnson of Columbia; Aunt Linda McBride of Vandalia and several nephews. He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather Larry Brandenburger.
Donald was raised in Bowling Green then served in the U. S. Navy from 1979 through 1985. He then lived in Tujunga, CA. from 1989 to 1994 when he moved back to Bowling Green. He was employed as an electrician at different businesses and industries. He enjoyed antiques, collecting Disney memorabilia, making stain glass, lamps and fishing. His most enjoyable time was spending time with Rachel. He was Baptist in Faith.
