Charlotte Hays age 75 of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday June 8, 2010 at the Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Don Amelung officiating.  Burial will be in the Bowling Green Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

She was born September 2, 1934 in Louisiana, the daughter of Cleo Sr. and Mildred Hume Pollard.  Survivors include one daughter Lou Ann Hays of Bowling Green; one sister-in-law Katie Pollard Tate of Bowling Green; one niece Lucinda Atkinson of Bowling Green; one great niece Kelly Bolte, two Great Great Nieces Stephanie Potter and Sara Potter all of Suffock, VA and one cousin Milton E. Hume of Bowling Green.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Maxine Kleinsorge, one brother Cleo Pollard Jr. and one great niece Katie Charlotte Sisson.

Ms. Hays owned and operated the Village Gift Shop in Bowling Green since 1975.  She had belonged to the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce and to the  Business of Professional Womens (BPW) organization.   She enjoyed helping others and had helped at Crystals Restaurant.  She enjoyed raising plants and flowers.  She attended the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green.  

Serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Brown, Rick Spegal, John Atkinson, Noahie Spegal, Sam Rowe, Stephanie Potter.
