Sadie Hustedde

Sadie E. Hustedde age 89 of Bowling Green passed away Thursday November 1, 2007 at the Hannibal Regional Healthcare Center. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.  Burial will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bowling Green.  Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born November 10, 1917 in Vandalia.  She married Glennon Hustedde on December 9, 1937.  He preceded her in death in 1966.  Survivors include one son Joe Hustedde and wife Kathleen of Bowling Green; one daughter Peggy Nation and  husband Marty of Vandalia; four grandchildren Brenda Robson and husband Don of Olathe, Ks., Rick Nation of Vandalia, Lance Hustedde of Bowling Green, Blake Hustedde and wife Tiffany of Columbia and three great grandchildren Indigo and Hope Robson and Kylen Nation.

Mrs. Hustedde was a lifelong resident of Pike County.  She had been employed as a seamstress for many years at Bridal Originals in Bowling Green, a waitress at the Confederate Cottage and also worked at the Princess Ice Cream Parlor.  She loved to sew, read and take care of her flowers and cats.
