Wayne Ingram 82 of Bowling Green passed away Friday March 12, 2010 at the Moore Pike Nursing Home in Bowling Green.  Funeral services will be 11:00A.M. Monday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Don Amelung officiating.  Interment will be in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bowling Green.  Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Ingram was born June 2, 1927 in Frankford, the son of Ermal and Gladys Kuntz Ingram.
He married Dorothy Lee Francis on March 17, 1945 in Hannibal and she preceded him in death on July 7, 2004.  Wayne was raised in Frankford where he continued to live and farm for over 30 plus years.  Upon retirement from farming he moved to Bowling Green where he owned and operated K& I Grocery Store for numerous years.  Later he became a school bus driver for Bowling Green R-1 School District where he drove for nine years.  Wayne was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Bowling Green and had served his country in the U.S Army during WW II.  He enjoyed yard sales, traveling, coffee with his friends and his greatest joy was gardening .  He loved visiting and never met a stranger.  Most of all Wayne loved watching his grandchildren play sports.

He is survived by three sons Donald W. Ingram and wife Carol of  Bonanza, AR., Tommy Ingram and wife Reva of Center, Jerry Ingram and special friend Susan King Scherder of Bowling Green;  three daughters Wilma Jones and husband Dick of Griggsville, IL., Nellie Taylor of Hannibal and Pat Miller and husband Jim of Vandalia; brother James M. Ingram and wife Elsie of Frankford; three sisters Verona Green and husband Lawrence of Frankford, Gwen Gibbs of Frankford and Barbara Jenkins and husband Gene of Bowling Green;  12 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren; sister in law Bonnie Ingram and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Jackie, two great grandsons Michael and Jordan, brother Donald, and daughter in law Linda Ingram.

Pallbearers will be Michael Ingram, Travis Miller, Branten Ingram, Tyson Ingram, Donnie Ingram and Harold Ard.  Honorary pallbearers will be Les Morris, Ed McGeorge, Jack Altizer and Richard Jenkins.

Memorials may be made to Pike County Home Health and Hospice  or  the American Cancer Society.
