Harold Clay Jennings age 52 of St. Louis, formerly of Bowling Green passed away
Saturday February 7, 2009 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Robert Warren officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
He was born May 3, 1956 in Reno NV, the son of Bob and Hazel Jennings. Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his parents of Frankford; two sisters Melodie Cooper and husband Joe of Frankford, Tammie Stevens and husband David of Frankford; special friend Dr. David Parks of St. Louis; five nieces and nephews Shawn Miller of Bowling Green, Beth Jennings and husband Clyde of Frankford, Kendra Williams and husband Brad of Iowa, Bobby Splain of Bowling Green, Tyler Splain of Frankford and eight great nieces and nephews. He was also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. Clay was preceded in death by grandparents Myrtle and Lawrence Jennings, Bertha Ann and Harry Sitton and foster grandparents Elzora and James Saxburry; three uncles Paul Sitton, Clifford Jennings and Leonard Sitton; two aunts Betty Davis and June Williams.
Clay worked at Pike County Memorial Hospital for many years as an E.M.T. and Paramedic before moving to St. Louis where he helped establish the CentralWest Clinical Research Foundation where he worked as the R. N. Clinical Research Coordinator. Clay was a loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved his family and friends and spending time with them.
Serving as pallbearers will be David Stevens, Bobby Splain, Tyler Splain, Shawn Miller, Clyde Jennings and Mike Parks. Honorary pallbearers will be Andrew Jennings, Trevor Crider and Blake Crider.
