Aaron James Lawrence age 22 of Bowling Green passed away April 26, 2007 at the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday May 1, 2007 at St. Clement Catholic Church with Fr. Wayne Boyer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Clement Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday April 30 at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
He was born March 28, 1985 in Louisiana, MO the son of Hershel Keith and Lea Ann Grote Lawrence. Survivors include his parents; brother Greg Lawrence and wife Lisa of Bowling Green; one sister Angie LaBrash of Bowling Green; niece Kayli LaBrash; nephew Dagan LaBrash; Grandparents Romana Grote, Henry and Delcie Cox all of Bowling Green; Amber Lawrence of Hondo, TX.; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Maurice Grote and Hershel Lawrence; great grandparents Frank and Frances Eckelkamp; Ben and Mary Grote; Frank and Lola Mathews; Jimmie Lloyd and Ruby Lawrence.
He lived in Bowling Green his entire life and was a member of the St. Clement Catholic Church. He graduated from Bowling Green High School in 2003 where he played baseball for 3 years, football for 4 years and was a member of FFA for 4 years. He also attended Pike Lincoln Vo-Tech in Eolia where he learned the welding trade. He was an employee of Bowling Green Lumber Company for 2 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling in the Vandalia Bowling League. He loved playing cards and enjoyed all sports. Mostly he enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Ellis, Adam Miller, Troy Niemeyer, Jackie Stevens, Kris Burris, Erik Bowen; honorary pallbearers Michael Korte, Tyler Allen, Matt Chandler, Ed Page, John Mullen, Brandon Korte and Danny Taylor.
