Kenneth J. Lewis age 59 of Clarksville passed away September 20, 2007 at the Moore-Pike Nursing Home.  Mr. Lewis was cremated according to his wishes through the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home.  A memorial service is planned for 10 a.m. Saturday September 29, 2007 at Clarksville Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Pastors Paul Lewis from New Hartford Baptist and Phil Brown Clarksville Baptist.  Services are under the direction of Pastor Paul Lewis.  Final interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville.

He was born August 15, 1948 in Pittsburg, CA the son of Paul Ray and Amy Mildred Nicholas Lewis.  Survivors include a brother Paul R. Lewis and sister in law Yvonne Joyce of Clarksville; sister Amy Day of Oakley, CA; nieces Yvonne Peters of O’Fallon, Tina Smith of Fernley, NV; nephews Paul Lewis of O’Fallon, James Lewis of Clarksville, Larry Day of Oakley, CA and Elliott Day of Lake Tahoe, CA; several great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, several aunts and uncles.

He was born and lived in Pittsburg, CA until 1994 when he moved to the Pike County area.  He was a member of the Clarksville Baptist Church.  He worked construction most of his life in California.  When he moved to Pike County he lived and worked on a family farm in Clarksville.
