Mary Ann Martin

Mary Ann Martin age 57 of Fulton passed away Saturday July 12 at the St. Mary’s Health Center in Jefferson City.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Lay Pastor Emily Smith officiating.  Burial will be in the Curryville Cemetery.  Visitation for Mary will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She was born January 13, 1951 in Vandalia, the daughter of Robert Marshall and Betty Jennings Kirk.  Survivors include three daughters Debbie Buchanan and husband Scott of Frankford, Kris Garrison and husband Jason of Bowling Green, Terri Boffa and husband Donnie of Jefferson City; eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild; her mother of Bowling Green; two brothers Robert L. Kirk of Moberly, Harold Kirk of Frankford; four sisters Beverly Reynolds of Bowling Green, Carol House of Louisiana, Phyllis Roe of the State of Arkansas and Wanda Neitzelt of the Country of Mexico.  She was preceded in death by her father.

Mary was raised in Frankford and lived in the Pike County area until moving to the Fulton area where she had lived for the past thirty years.  She had been employed as a secretary at Kidwell Construction in Columbia for 12 years and then worked as a clerk at the Dollar General Warehouse in Fulton for 5 years before her illness.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, needlepoint and working crossword puzzles.  She enjoyed playing her mandolin and singing and was a Christian by Faith.

Serving as pallbearers will be Scott Buchanan, Jason Garrison, Donnie Boffa, Jarod Peak, Brandon Buchanan and Harold Kirk.  Honorary pallbearers will be Robert L. Kirk, Jeremy Garrison, DaShawn Thorpe, Isaiah Boffa, Haydn Buchanan, Michael Boffa,  Daniel Boffa and Kyle Boffa
