Flora Jean Twilla age 47 of Bowling Green passed away May 17, 2010 at the Country View Nursing Facility in Bowling Green.
Funeral services will be held 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mudd-Veach Funeral Home in Bowling Green with Rev. Frank Welch officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include one daughter Paula Lynn Kendle of Bowling Green; six sisters Rosemary Hawkins, Zula Mae Chandler Sylvia Jo Richardson and Geraldine Marie Charlton all of Bowling Green and Mary Ann Johnson and Melissa Sue Hayes both of Cedar Rapids, IA.; one grandchild Daveon Lamont Cole and 14 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two nephews Bruce Twilla and Christopher Chandler and several aunts and uncles.
She was born March 11, 1963 in St. Louis, the daughter of Willie Lee and Mary Lee Brown Twilla. She lived in Bowling Green most of her life. She worked at the Ruth Jensen Shelter workshop and was involved in Special Olympics. She loved to sing and always had a big smile for everyone. She also enjoyed watching TV and playing bingo.
